General League Notes:

- MBR is using school names to make it easier to identify and recognize players from a geographic area.. These fall league teams are not affiliated in anyway with their high school athletic program.  Teams are formed independently from their HS affiliation...

- The goal of the league is to provide an opportunity for teams and players to work on their game. We expect all teams and players to represent themselves in an appropriate manner. The MBR league will ask all to support the players and enjoy the day..  We care about what goes on between the lines, quality assigned officials and  quality teams working on their game

- We'll play 16 minute halves, 2 time-outs per half, no carry over,

- We'll have a site director at both locations,  for coaches to check in, submit rosters, fees, etc,  receive updates,

    Camden 47 Hampden 41
    C- Gordon Fischer 19, Paul Camopbell 10
    H - Tony Juco - 13, Justin Brown 10, Haase 9

    * Fischer was dominant in the game. Rebounded out of his area and got to balls not many would be able to. Did a great job of ripping the ball of the perimeter and getting to the rim. Campbell played a great all around floor game. For Hampden, Juco is lightning quick with the ball and penetrated often. Brown is a strong physical presence who defends and rebounds like a player much bigger than he is.

    Camden 59 Lewiston 57
    C - Fischer 19, Campbell 16, K. Lammi 11
    L - Jarrid Palmer 35, Dominique Bailey 13

    * Very entertaining game as both teams played physical and got it up and down the court. Camden moved the ball easily and were able to get to the rim on several occasions. What they do very well as a team is that they use efficient screens and are very unselfish. Lewiston was the superior team athletically and they rode the streaky shooting of Palmer. When he is on he pulls it from anywhere. At one point in the 1st half, he ran off 11 straight in less than a minute to cut a thirteen point deficit to two. The problem for Lewiston however is that the other players stand around and watch until they get the ball. Then it is look for a one on one opportunity off the dribble or shoot it. Dominique Bailey could become a very good player as he has length, hops, and a good understanding of shot selection. If Lewiston could improve there shot selection as a team, learn space the floor better, and become more unselfish, they could be a dangerous team.
